2/4 Min Gearing for Standard Model A?

I only have a Standard Model A and would like to play some 4 minute records I have (Model H reproducer is on the way). I can't really justify the purchase of a new machine or the ~$100 for a set of 2/4 gearing off eBay.

I was wondering if someone knows of drawings for these parts of a 2/4 min gearing... "add-on"? Like in this ad: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-4-GEARING-FOR ... 1876503179. I'd like to either machine or 3D print some. If you have these parts, but no drawings, I wouldn't mind renting them for full price and then returning them for my money back, less some agreed upon fee?

This didn't really seem like something for the Yankee Trader section, so I thought I would put it there. If I get a hold of a gearing set to measure I'd gladly share the drawings or stl's.

If you spent the money on a Model "H" Reproducer...Why not spend the money on the gearing??!?? All in all, If you want the gearing, It would make the most sense just to buy it. PS, While you are there, Plan on buying the special Gear cover for it as well. Repros of those are available.

Your 3D printing project warrants some merit, but is not economically realistic. By the time you are done and make the molds and materials..You are in way over $100+...so it really makes no sense unless you are trying to reproduce the parts for repro manufacture...again....That would be Way over $100...

Thanks Tony, you definitely have some valid points.

I got the Model H for a very good price. I'm not out sourcing the 3D printing/CAD (from somewhere like Shapeways). We have several 3D printers at the local Makerspace. Filament would be less than $10. I wouldn't have to make any molds unless I wanted to do some cast aluminum parts. If 3D printing fails and I need to machine everything I can either do it myself or call in a favor. I could do a bit of math and find out the gear ratios, but I think I'd enjoy copying original parts and reproducing them with 3D printed versions more.

I could just buy those and then resell them, but I haven't quite made up my mind on how I feel about reinforcing potentially over-inflated market values for Edison parts on eBay.
