Honest, it followed me home

I went to my local antique store to see if I could talk them into selling me a diamond disk motor and look what followed me home. Missing the feet and crank but otherwise pretty good. Why are the feet always gone? (rhetorical)

That's really a nice looking Victrola. Does that one take the small round bun feet? I had one of those a long time ago and really liked it. Someone else thought much more of it financially than I did though. Haha!

He mentions the feet are missing, and I honestly can't remember if the one I had came with feet or not. I have a set of small thin bun feet from a Victrola around here, but I have no idea what they came from. They were given to me many years ago. There are pictures of XII's with small feet on them though. The one I had came with a record cabinet and I really did like the thing. The motor is really an unusual thing as well.

Thanks Earl, I've only seen the XII in photos, so if the feet are thin "buns", I probably did not notice them.

I wonder if the early IX had similar "feet" ? I grew-up with a circa 1915 IX that had the carved "feet".

I think the XI table top had the same feet, and the X table top had small squareish feet. Yes, it came with a wreath key, however the key has no teeth. I suspect the crank was somewhere else at the auction since the machine looks well kept and is clean inside and out. The motor works well once you wind it. He told me he only had to give $200 for it so he sold it to me for $500.
