Thanks for the price correction. I must have been thinking of something else when I wrote $3.. :roll: :lol:.

As you stated, both the Melba 12" and the Tamagno 10" were $5. A tidy some for a record.

I have a batwing Victor Tamagno that still bears the $ 5.00 price on the label - that would be post 1914 or so. It's the Di quella pira from Otello which is another pretty short record, though not as short as the Esultate !

"Di quella pira" is from Il Trovatore. No-one gets burned in Otello.
