The 2016 Debate on Cylinder
In 1908 Taft and Bryan recorded debates on cylinder....Maybe someone can arrange recording sessions for the two 2016 candidates on cylinder. Lol

Yes, brilliant idea! Perhaps Shawn Borri would do the honors? I suspect that Trump would have a good recording voice considering his volume.

And if you play them backwards, they might just make some sense.

I would certainly give it a go if it was a possibility. After they are made, then were to put them??? In the Library of Congress collection, The Conservatory of Dying languages, Edison National Historical Park??

At least this idea would condense the whole train wreck down to three or four minutes. I'm Cody K and I approve of this post.

I think Shawn would be a great person to do something like this, experience, equipment and the studio recorder.edisonphonoworks wrote:I would certainly give it a go if it was a possibility. Maybe have resin plastic copies made for the collectors and donate the originals to one of the museums or archives.

Considering the tone of the current election, I would suggest any recordings should be stored in lead-lined boxes, at a secure vault in a remote desert.edisonphonoworks wrote:I would certainly give it a go if it was a possibility.
