I have decided to sell my Opera phonograph. It works well, sounds great, looks impressive. The Diamond A reproducer was rebuilt by Steve Medved. The cabinet was refinished as was the motor board. The horn and cygnet throat are Don Gfell reproductions. The lid is also a Don Gfell reproduction though the hardware on it is original Edison. The stop bar is also from Don Gfell.
The pictures do make it look much more red than it is and the horn cygnet is subdued in normal light, the flash makes it look tiger striped. A nice looking machine.
The serial number of 235 makes this one of the earlier Opera machines.
I am asking 4700.00.
This can be delivered to Union but I must get it to Jerry Blais no later than Wednesday afternoon, the 1st of June. Jerry is leaving for Union on the 2nd.
Please PM or Email.
