£75 for a postcard?

Post by epigramophone »

The price may be unbelievable, but the subject matter is a collector's dream. What would you give for a time machine to transport you back to that shop?

Looks like my place!

£75 would not be expensive for a unique original photograph. I've seen some photographs featuring early machines fetching multiple hundreds of pounds but I agree, that £75 for a mass produced / copied postcard is a different ball-game. Still interesting though.

I have a stereo card of a similar view (very pricey too!) and within the shop there are no less than 4 machines I currently have in my collection.
