Estate sale find!!

Post by Victrolaboy »

Today I picked up a Victor VI with a mahogany and spruce(?) music master horn for $450!! It was at Earl Scruggs old house in Nashville. They had another machine wich was an Edison Home B with a fabulous morning glory horn that I also picked up for $485. Crazy that the Edison was actually more than the Victor! I've posted pictures of the VI. Missing crank and reproducer.

As if a Victor VI isn't already a major score, that's a spruce horn. Wow.

Wow, congratulations! You were at the right place at the right time. That's a beautiful machine with an awesome horn. I would play the lottery today if I was you.

It's incredible that you can still find these types of machines in the wild. There is hope! Congratulations.
