FOR SALE: Victor V-XXV Schoolhouse, new price - $1950/bo

Here's a nice Victor Schoolhouse. It's the last iteration, with the smooth oak horn and fold up shelf to facilitate storage of the horn when not in use. The quartered oak is in excellent condition with what appears to be the original finish. The elbow has dents on its rear surface, not noticeable when in use but easily repaired or replaced. The reproducer retains its original record brush, exclusive to the schoolhouse model and often missing. The platter felt is original but worn. Pinstripes are in excellent condition.

It plays smoothly and quietly, and sounds great.

Priced for a quick sale, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. When pre-paid, I can deliver it to the CAPS show in LA in early August (or points between), as well as hand off to any of our traveling colleagues willing to help get it to you.

Nothing is impossible. One way of looking at it might be to apply the cost savings of the low price to the shipping costs...and we can likely get Jerry Blais or someone like him to get it to Union next year for those who can wait.
