What the .....?

Post by Gramtastic »

This has just sold on Ebay UK for over £410 ! It looks to me like some terrible crapophone cobbled together with the intention of fooling people - the hand cranked motor is a 30's motor without a spring !
Unless I am missing something and this is actually a rare machine ? What d'ya think ? £410 !!!

I dig it, and I don't think he's trying to fool anyone. Acoustic reproduction is so easy, and it's fun! If I had any metalworking skills at all, I'd do the same thing, with all the extra motors I have lying around.

A coil spring attached to two valves from a car engine.
