It has just come to my attention (and embarrassment) that there is a slight difference in reproducer angles between the early Polyphone Attachment (with the adjusting screw) and the later Polyphone Attachment (without the adjusting screw). Thanks to a kind friend, I can share photos of what this means.
Here's the early Polyphone (left, with adjusting screw) and later Polyphone (right) on the same machine for comparison purposes: Now here's how the horns properly align on the later Polyphone (the type I used to fabricate the Polyphone elbows): So far so good... But here's how the horns don't properly align using my elbows on an early Polyphone Attachment with adjusting screw: Rats! I never suspected that there would be a difference in ANGLES on the early vs. later Polyphone Attachments.

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED MY POLYPHONE ELBOWS:
I stand by my offer to refund your money if you ship the elbow set(s) back to me. I want no unhappy customers.
However, I'd like to make this right if possible. In studying the photos above, you can see that the REAR elbow is at an acceptable angle on both versions of the Polyphone. The FRONT elbow seems to be the problem on the earlier Attachment - - it's too low. If I could borrow an early Polyphone Attachment (with the adjusting screw), I could fabricate a new front elbow to put the lower horn at a proper angle. I would provide this elbow to my current customers at cost (whatever that may be). The lender of an early Polyphone Attachment would, of course, get a set of elbows for free. The only thing preventing me doing this right away is my not having access to an early Polyphone Attachment (with adjusting screw). If someone would be willing to lend me the proper Attachment, I would get back to work on this nightmar...err...project. I have come to understand why no one seems to have undertaken this project before!

My sincere apologies for this unforeseen (and surprising) development.
Best to all,
George P.
