Victor Junior Reproducers

Post by Phono-Phan »

I recently received my Victor Junior reproducer back from John Nagy. I compared it to my other one and noticed some differences. One has a black paper label inside with the "Victor Junior" name on it and the back flange is also black, serial number 2400. The other one has the "Victor Junior" name embossed into the flange and is nickel plated on front and back, serial number 12000. Also, notice the more Omega looking U in Junior on the later one. The black marker line on the later one is from John when he aligned it. It is also strange that the later one has the "Victor Junior" stamped upside down. Are there any more variations of this reproducer?
I am also still looking for clean original Victor Junior with out the horn, reproducer, and turntable. I will purchase a whole machine if need be.
