Kumabe's Apollon Mercury - Japanese table model

Kumabe's Apollon was a premium, custom-made machine made in Japan in the mid 1930s - Kumabe was named after one Dr. Kumabe Kazuo (1897 - 1971), an engineer and pioneer of Japanese automobile industry who was also an expert on acoustics. These machines fetch quite high prices in Japanese collector market these days.
