Wanted: Brace that holds up motor board for a Home

Post by bruv »

I need the arm and top part that screw into the underside that holds up the motor board on a Home when one looks at the motor. The bottom part of it is there, I just need the other part that slides and locks the board up. Thank you for any help in this.

Just to clarify, you need the brace that holds up the motor frame, not the lid. :)

Good luck - -

Yes, that is the part. Wow, when I re-read my post I thought it sounded pretty bad. Thank you for the wording.

You're welcome. That should not be a hard part to find. If no one here has an extra, you might try George Vollema (pronounced "VOLL-uh-muh") at Great Pakes Antique Phonograph. His web site is here:

Thanks again. I was going to see if anyone had one in a parts pile before George. George always does come through, though. I'll try him in a day or two.
