Edison Employees Where did they go after the close?
Does anyone know where many of the Edison employees went after the close in 1929?

I think you mean where did they go when they closed in 1930. Edison was still producing radios in 1930.Does anyone know where many of the Edison employees went after the close in 1929?

Did they go to the corners with there cardboard signs that said will play record for food???? They must have diverse to someplace. They were starting a depression then so jobs were hard to come by, It was tough times in those days Tom B

They started making Edicraft appliances, later (after Edicraft) during WWII they manufactured aircraft instruments along with Weston of Newark N.J.,,,, mainly pressure gauges and bomber sights.
