Ermine Calloway

Post by Victrolacollector »

While very little information seems to be available on Ermine Calloway, here is an interesting little blog and a recording of her in 1979.

Thank you for that link, this is highly interesting, especially her talking. You can still hear close a similarity to her early recordings.

No problem. I am wondering when she passed? Unless she is still alive??

At the start of the mp3 recording, it was stated that the interviewer was Al Pushkin. Small world, I knew Al in Houston around that time. He had a huge collection of Edison disks, thousands of them. He had shelves that filled an entire wall. I never heard what became of his collection.
