I finally sprung for it. The seller sent me a photo of the back of the reproducer which confirmed it was brass, so I figured why not? The motor winds but chugs a bit. Cabinet is in decent shape. Serial number is 1394. Someone else had looked at it. Came with six binders in average shape. A few records. I paid their asking price.

If it chugs sometimes that will work out after using the motor a while- mine thumped slightly when I got it, but a knowledgeable collector advised me not to be too quick to take it apart.miker2001 wrote:I finally sprung for it.
