Grand Opera console on eBay.

Post by Benjamin_L »

This just seems pretty rare for me, being a Grand Opera console with an electric motor.

(Even though it's not in the best shape I think it still is a little a rare. And worth sharing.)

As an off-brand console it's interesting, especially with the electric motor; but it would most likely cost more than its market value to restore.

You're right, which is something really sad. If it can't sell they'll just take the mechanical components out and throw out the cabinet, or even wore just throw out the whole thing. Which isn't a very comforting thought.

A curiosity, but the electric motor is the only real point of interest- otherwise this is a middle rate cabinet with a lot of stuck on ornaments that are falling off. Even when brand new I suspect it looked a bit cheap.
