What is this horn off ?

Post by Gramtastic »

Hi
Can anyone identify what machine this horn is from ? The size is 21.5 inches long an 17 inches diameter.
The end looks as though it could have been used with a leather elbow but did any travelling arm machines have horns this size ? Any ideas gratefully received !!

Has it got a hole drilled in it , the third picture looks as though it has one at the top of the cone?

Thought so , it is an English 1980's good quality reproduction horn , the hole was where it was riveted to the elbow which has been removed

Thanks for the info. That would explain the odd size. It is certainly well made - puts the modern Crapophone makers to shame !!
