Can anyone identify this Columbia model?
The motor housing says X-17. I know that it is a Columbia, but can't find anything else.

Sometimes there's model information on a tag under the turntable. Lift the turntable for a look. It could also be a "client" machine that Columbia produced for a great many companies. Some had names, others didn't. Some were given away as premiums to folks who bought a room full of furniture or such.
BTW, please swing the arm over to the other side of the record if you're going to play it. You may already know that, but it hurts to see it.

I have a similar Columbia client machine with different on/off speed control. The one I have has no marking other than the reproducer. I enjoy picking up these client machines when I see them. Cheersw

It's a Columbia Client machine made from the early to mid Teens. These were sold by Sears, Montgomery Ward and other mail order houses.
