Can anyone identify this cylinder machine?

I purchased the cylinder phonograph in the attached photos this past week from a seller in Texas. I just got it about 2 hours ago. It is in excellent condition and appears to be fully operational however there is no name or number anywhere on the machine. The machine itself fits into the case by turning the top upside down with the handle on the bottom below the bedplate. Is this type machine familiar to anyone, and does anyone know the make and model of the phonograph. I literally don't have a clue as to where I should look for it as I collect Edison cylinder machines and just couldn't pass this one up.

It looks like a German machine to me. It is similar to a Kastenpuck machine (cylinder player in a box), but without the puck or trivet bedplate...

It's a Crown. The long metal rod holding up the horn is not correct.

I don't believe it's British or European so you might try putting your request in the "Machines" forum. I'm sure you'll get good responses, photos, etc. there.

Now that I see some of the photos that you posted on the "Machines" page, I'm not so certain that the horn mounting is incorrect.

The horn support is made very professionally. I don't think that there is any way that it is other than original. Thanks for all the information on this type of machine. I was hoping to pin it down to a specific maker but it looks like there were too many machines that are similar and without finding another machine like this one that is identified, I don't see how that will happen.

I don't think the horn support is in any way original , no original horn support would be finished that way !
