Childrens talking books records 1919

Post by ColoradoPhonograf »

I found this quite interesting. Cardboard cut outs of the child's tune on a 4" record. I have one of these but with damage to one of the legs. To find a comprehensive collection is way off the charts to find a grouping of minty early childrens records. These should be in the eye of a higher end collector of this type of thing.

I have a couple of these - they command very big bucks if they are minty (rarely found minty) The rarest one is the Watermelon Coon as it is a big cross-collectible.

Nice find, they are quite an enjoyable part of The Emerson Phonograph Company's product line.
