SOLD - Victor smooth mahogany horn - $1000

This horn came on my Victor IV - finally found the small mahogany horn I've been looking for so this one is for sale. I had never seen a full size Victor horn other than the speartip. After some research and with the help of a fellow Forum member we discovered that Victor did offer this horn as an option. The horn had a split about 10" long that I had professionally repaired and you have to look to notice it. It must have been refinished sometime in the distant past (I bought the Vic IV from and old time collector that owned it for 25+ years) since there was no decal. I had a Greg Cline decal added at the time the repair was made.

What a gorgeous restored Victor #30 horn in mahogany. These are few and far between and they were only offered (as an option) for the mahogany Victor IV. Mostly found with a Victor #31 (speartip horn) in mahogany.

Good luck with the sale and congrats on finding a better one.
