I just had to contact the seller, because I had previously owned this machine.
Here is the message I sent him thru Ebay:
Dear Sir,
WHERE IN THE WORLD DO YOU EVER COME UP WITH YOUR FANCIFULL INFORMATION???
I purchased this machine 2yrs ago at Union, and subsequently sold it at Stanton’s this past spring.
I had owned the horn and crane for about 5yrs, and had the horn straightened and polished, and a new brass nipple installed at a music shop in Tulsa for a whopping cost of $120.
I am the person who glued and nailed the leather bumpers on the case to insulate the bedplate from the case to make the motor quieter. I am also the person who rebuilt the reproducer with a new replacement limit screw from Ron Sitko. (I can’t believe that you made up a story that Steve Medvid & Walt Sommers rebuilt this reproducer!).
I am also the person who cleaned and polished the case with GoJo, and cleaned and lubricated the motor and installed a new leather drive belt.
I am including pictures which I sent to Steve Stanton prior to the spring auction to prove my case!
Sincerely, Bob Schuljak, Broken Arrow, OK
OBVIOUSLY, I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A RESPONSE!
i looked up antqedison5947 on the forum and found this link:

I'm sure that in this world there are many people like this.
I would hope that we don't have too many in the Hobby.
THINGS LIKE THIS REALLY PISS ME OFF!!!
Respectfully, Rob S.

Just to play devils advocate, who says that this guy didn't buy it at the Stanton auction, and maybe he swapped out the reproducer for reason???

Nope. A different reproducer would necessarily have a different serial number. (The facts of this matter are being addressed privately as they should be.)

I've dealt with this guy before... let's just say doing so is a Kafka- esque experience.

Can't say as I never met the man, but I can tell you that I noticed quite the metamorphosis in the items I bought by the time I got 'em...Panatropia wrote:gramophone-georg wrote:I've dealt with this guy before... let's just say doing so is a Kafka- esque experience.

Well Sir, I ain't no entomologist either, but his two negative feedbacks seem restricted to phono related items. More'n enough to warn me away from any potential dealings.gramophone-georg wrote:Can't say as I never met the man, but I can tell you that I noticed quite the metamorphosis in the items I bought by the time I got 'em...Panatropia wrote:gramophone-georg wrote:I've dealt with this guy before... let's just say doing so is a Kafka- esque experience.

I tried to deal with him once or twice, maybe more. Either did not get a response to my queries or when I asked for more pictures he said he would not send them after which I replied then I would not bid on the item.

well, the seller has modified his description striking the reference to Steve and Walt, and changed it to "the two gentlemen."
