I use an M3A in my XA Oversize, and I can vouch that it lives up to Collaro's claim for it- Strong Silent Compact and British! My case had previously been fitted with an electric replacement with the mains wire fed in through the winding escutcheon which is located approximately 4" behind the spindle centre. The M3A Collaro was the only motor I could find at the time that matched the winding escutcheon.
