Hurricane Matthew is supposed to make landfall here tonight. If power is out for days afterward, as I anticipate it will be, I may be the only source for music in the neighborhood.

To all our friends in Florida and along the Southern Coastline:
Stay Safe and Dry! Our thoughts are with you, hoping that listening to the Phonograph is the worst impact you may have.

I wish you Southern members the best of luck. I lived in South Dade for several years before I went into the Military. I had my share of hurricanes. Make sure your springs are wound tight and use you kerosene lamps if you have them. God speed and good luck.

Re: Waiting for Matthew
Went through Francis, Jean and Wilma in 2004-05 when I lived in West Palm. Even with good hurricane shutters, it was very scary sitting in the dark wondering what I was hearing bounce off the roof. We were fortunate though, no major damage - just inconvenience. Hope you make it through unscathed. keep us informed.

I hope that our neighbors to south will all be okay, and some lucky ones find themselves listening to one of Clay's favorite machines.
Batten down the hatches and stay safe!
