WANTED: Parts for Victor E and Berliner

Post by gramophone-georg »

I have a front mount Victor E in need of the following:

Horn, elbow, reproducer, traveling arm, slotted crank, horn rest and reproducer bracket. Also need a record clamp. Nice repros OK. Prefer an Exhibition long throat. Solid parts that need restoration not a problem.

Also need a Berliner style clamp for the leather elbow where it attaches to the reproducer for a New Style No 3. Repro OK.

Thanks much! I have a bunch of random parts and records so I can do $$$ or trade if I just so happen to have something you need.

Hi George, I know I have a spare Victor front mount horn which would be perfect for an E. I believe Sitko sell good quality brass threaded elbows and slotted cranks. Your best bet for a reproducer would be to buy a long throat Exhibition back from Sitko. They are made from an regular Exhibition back that has been machined (dished out) and then a tube added. They are really good and authentic looking. I hope this helps. Jerry Blais
