Well, a phonograph motor put into a new frame. For what purpose I could only speculate. Perhaps somebody just likes to see gears turn.

Clay, Thanks for the input, I was wondering if it was for that phonograph that had the turntable move across the board (don't recall the brand) possibly Brooks? Hope you are well in The Sunshine State
