Question on Edison Long Play Reproducer
Does the Long Play reproducer take the same stylus as the other Edison Diamond Disc reproducers, and if not does anyone know of someone making replacements?

Re: Question on Edison Long Play Reproducer
Long play records are recorded at 450 tpi, as opposed to the "normal" Diamond Disc which is 150 tpi. As a result, the long play stylus must be much finer than the "normal" one. This also means that using a standard reproducer on a long play record will instantly destroy the grooves.
AFAIK, no one is making replacements for long play styli.
