I was talking with a woman today who told me her aunt sold the old family Edison cylinder phonograph back in the 1950's. She lamented that the records included a home recording that was made at the Fraser, Michigan train depot. She said you could hear a train going through the station and her grandfather speaking. The phono was sold at a home sale on Beaconsfield in Detroit.
I know it is a long shot, but does that sound like anything any of you might have in your collection? I know this stuff moves all around the country thanks to Stanton's auctions, but I told her I would see if I could find it.
Thanks!
