Columbia BK - Serial Number
I recently purchased the Columbia BK in the attached photos, and have checked it all over (above and below the bedplate) and cannot find a serial number anywhere. The only thing I found was #43655 lightly scratched in the paint on the right rear corner of the bedplate (barely visible). Were any of these machines manufactured without serial numbers? Why does this one not have one? Also, As you can probably see, I need a few minor parts for the machine, including the speed control knob, the small bolt which holds the mandrel on the arm, and one screw at the bottom of the reproducer base. Well, I hope I can find out more about this machine. Motor runs fine, and carriage arm slides smoothly, so I don't think it was a bad deal.

Re: Columbia BK - Serial Number
Serial number is on the front right edge of the motor.7309 wrote:I recently purchased the Columbia BK in the attached photos, and have checked it all over (above and below the bedplate) and cannot find a serial number anywhere. Re: Columbia BK - Serial Number
Thanks Chuck. I checked my phonograph and found the serial number. It was where you said it was however it was so lightly stamped that unless you were looking very closely you wouldn't see it. Thanks again.
