I recently acquired a very crusty motor from an Edison A250 Diamond Disc phonograph. Mostly, I was going to try to salvage some parts from it, but when I took it apart and cleaned all the pieces, there didn't seem to be any significant damage, so I reassembled it and it works great! The springs are strong and in good condition. The only actual rust pits are in the shaft that drives the horn, not really an issue, and light pitting on the top of the spindle.
You can watch it run on YouTube:

Anybody need a motor for an A250? This is a good motor. Asking $150 plus shipping. (Priority mail shipping to NY is $65, less if further west)
The video and pictures don't show the back bar but it is installed on the motor and is included.
Thanks! Cliff
