I recently acquired what appears to be a Clark-Johnson soundbox, pictured below in "as found" condition.
The top front screw looks like a modern replacement, but is there anything I should look for to determine whether the soundbox is an original or a reproduction? Over to the experts please......

Re: Clark-Johnson soundbox?
Definitely a Reproduction.
In fact, I can't really see anything that looks correct on this reproducer.
(I've added a picture of an original Victor Clark-Johnson reproducer for comparison).

A reproduction. And a fairly poor one at that.
