NOS Record-Lite

Post by gramophone78 »

It's always neat to find NOS items. It allows a collector the opportunity to see how an item was offered to the period customer back then. In this case.....the Universal Record-Lite.
Notice the company name change at the bottom of the two gold labels....one is the Interstate Music Corporation price $4.00. The other is the Record Needle & Mfg. Co. price $3.50.

Really a neat find, to have both Gold and Nickel in the original box with the paper----Nice.

A nice little treasure for you collection. Finding them NOS has got to be something rare.

I was wondering what a "record lite" might be. A record with less music on it perhaps? "I can't believe it's not a record"?
