I think I bought a few of these actually, I was definitely involved in a scramble for a lot of Berliners that night. If you did, in fact, sell me "Zizzy Ze Zum Zum" and "Rocked In The Cradle of the Deep," thanks, they arrived last night!

Only 11,000 records into my collection, I finally have some Berliners. Now I'm just wishing I was willing to pay a little more for that "Carmen"...

What speed would you say these are played at? I tried 78 at first, which, while comical, was definitely much too fast. In my opinion, to a 21st century ear they sound right at 66 or so? (Although I'm not sure even Berliner knew for sure, considering that 'Rocked In The Cradle Of The Deep" gains a whole key over the course of the record!)

66 or so rpm is correct, Berliner discs were recorded at variable speeds that usually fall within 65-70 rpm.
Please don't forget the eBay feedback. ;)

Thanks,
James.
