Folks,
Today we have for sale an example of an item that I have never seen before in over 30 years of collecting. This is one of the first Victor needle tins. It dates from around 1902 - 1906, and was actually found with a machine with a paper label on the bottom marked - 1902. I have two of these available for sale in the Yankee Trader today.
What makes this one special above the others is that it is gold-plated. Most of these early needle tins are found mostly or completely devoid of their finish. When found with finish, they are normally nickle-plated. This is the first, and only one I have seen that was gold-plated. An in unbelievably great condition as well. It retains not only most of its gold plating, but the original needles and paper insert. This would have been a special needle tin most probably meant for the Victor VI or the early Pooley Victor Victrola.
This is a special needle tin and deserves to be paired with an early gold plated machine!
The price is $155 plus shipping and insurance. No PayPal, but checks are fine. Contact me with interest at: [email protected]
Thank you
Shawn
