FOR SALE: "VICTOR TRUMPET HORN" Paper Mache' $475.

FOR SALE: "VICTOR TRUMPET HORN" Paper Mache' $475. For those of you that have read the article published in the most recent issue of "THE ANTIQUE PHONOGRAPH" December issue, Published by The Antique Phonograph Society, the item that I am offering for sale is described on pages 16 - 18 (article written by Robert Baumbach). This is a very respectable example of this rare horn. It is one of the red/mahogany colored "Mega Horn" made for use on a Victor Talking Machine. I'm attaching some pictures so that the condition can be seen. This is the only example of one of these horns that I have ever had over my 37 years in the hobby (examples made for a Victor, that is). It came to me recently along with a Victor MS that it was used on for many years. Maybe even from when it was new. It will fit that size horn elbow (Victor 4, 6, etc.). First come, first serve for anyone that wants to add this item to your collection. Best to contact me direct, rather than through the board since I don't visit the site as often as many of you do. I would be reluctant to ship this horn, so would prefer that the buyer get if from me at an upcoming function, such as The Orlando Phonograph Show, the 4th week-end in January or the Union Phonograph Show in June. Please contact me if interested. Thanks much! Ron Haring "The Victrola Man", 17024 Frazier Rd., Plano, IL 60545 (630) 552-1558 (9:30AM - 9:30PM CST preferred or e-mail at [email protected]
