Do you have an earlier Numbered Exhibition?

This is the earliest numbered Exhibition I have ever owned. (#1639)
Do you have one with a lower number?

It's interesting in that the needle set screw is the same size as on my ERJ reproducer.
(The later Exhibition needle set screws are smaller diameter).
Possibly using up left over ERJ needle bars on the early Exhibitions?

Hi

I have Exhibition reproducer #1406. It is for a rigid-arm phonograph as the mounting holes are slightly different than would be for a taper arm and has no rubber flange. At some point, the needle bar may have been changed to a triangular chuck from a round hole.

I have a gold Exhibition on an early Victor 6 that is marked "B35" but what does the "B" indicate? Not all the gold Exhibitions have a B prefix.

(I'm chasing around the house and basement late at night with a flashlight checking on Exhibition serial numbers and DeeDee must think I'm nuts. I caught her speaking in hushed tones to someone. I think she may have called the guys in the white jackets. If you don't hear from me please send help. Jerry B.)

This leads me to believe that this reproducer, (#1639), was produced at the very start of Taper Arm production, and would be appropriate for a very early Taper Arm machine.

The Exhibition on my early Victor 6 is B35. Many nickel Exhibitions would have been made prior to any gold plated machines. I wonder if early gold Exhibitions were prefixed with a "B". Any thoughts?
