My new addition - Lauzon William and Mary Period - Style D
A little over a month ago, Bill obtained a Japanese painted Lauzon phonograph in Tennessee and I wished I had made the trip to get it... This past weekend, I was in Michigan and stopped in an antique shop looking for anything interesting. I asked the owner if he had any phonographs and he showed me a couple of common machines, then mentioned that he had just gotten an "unusual" phonograph that was still in the back. He hadn't put it out since it needed a spring repair, so I asked to see it. Boy, was I surprised when it turned out to be a Lauzon William and Mary machine like pictured in an ad that Benjamin posted. Needless to say, it got put in the back of the Expedition and came home with me. I haven't had time to unload it yet and take pictures, but will do so when it stops raining... (I just got back last night).

Curt;
I am really looking forward to seeing the pictures of this machine. Please post as many different views as you can. From the picture in the ad it looks ornately carved, and I am sure that that drawing does not do it justice. Congratulations, great addition to your collection.
