That's gorgeous, Wyatt. An incredible transformation. I wish I had some room for a Triumph -- that would be a showpiece!
Nicotine / tar from years and years of cigarette smoke can sometimes be overwhelming. I remember years ago restoring an early Wurlitzer jukebox and spending literally hours wet-sanding plastics. They went from dark yellow to almost white once the residue was finally removed.

It came out beautiful, Wyatt. I don't understand why it hasn't sold yet. Especially now that the dirty work is done.

Beautiful, Wyatt!
Look at the wonderful green coming out in the grain.
I agree with the rest who have posted, what a fabulous first machine this would be for a young collector.
Triumphs are the workhorse "boss" of all 2-minute Phonographs.
Best,
Fran

Now that is one fine machine, and whoever gets that one is getting a gold mine of a phonograph. If I had the resources I would buy it in a heartbeat.
I love how it cleaned up.

I think the only thing slowing the sale is that it's two-minute only.
If it were a 2&4, it would have been snapped-up in a flash. At least that was my reason for not jumping on it.
It is beautiful, and deserving of the best home.

Hmmm... actually to me this machine with 2/4 gearing would be worth a little less or certainly not more. Unadulterated two minute machines are not that common.De Soto Frank wrote:alang wrote:It came out beautiful, Wyatt. I don't understand why it hasn't sold yet. I would have to get rid of all my other cylinder players; so for me, to have only one, it would have to be a 2 & 4.

Wyatt
If you could only do something like that with the 76 pacer
Up here in Canada we call it a fish bowl on wheels.
My first car was a Vega station wagon I don't recall the year but I remember my sister and I pushing it home and the holes in the floor. I wanted to slam the brake on like Fred Flintstone, with my heels.
