I completely understand that they would make a lot of sense for collectors of valuable records. The very few valuable records I have are also in higher quality sleeves. But the majority of my records are of the bulk variety, pretty common, well worn, used to play on phonographs with steel needles. It does not make sense for me to keep them in sleeves that cost more than the records. I still want to protect them and for those the sleeves from bagsunlimited are perfect. And in the US they ship for free.bart1927 wrote: .... They are much cheaper, but when I inquired about the shipping costs they turned out to be much higher than what Nauck charges. .....
So from now on it's only Disc-O-File sleeves for me. And in my opinion they're not that expensive. The standard ones are 50 cents per sleeve, not a lot when I compare it to the value of the records they're protecting.
