FOR SALE: Large library of classical 78s. FREE, Various.

Post by marcapra »

I have a large library of classical 78s. I am putting them in boxes and will offer them for free under the following conditions: 1. you must pick up at my home, no shipping 2. No cherry picking, you must take at least an entire box to get it for free. 3. If you must cherry pick, then the price would be $1 a record or more. Most of my albums are from the 1930s and 1940s and include artists such as Bruno Walter, Arturo Toscanini, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Alfred Cortot, Vladimir Horowitz, Eugene Ormandy, Leopold Stokowski, Budapest STring Quartet, Artur Schnabel, Ignace Paderewski, etc. Most of the labels are Columbia, Victor, Decca, Brunswick, etc. I am located in Temecula, CA in southern California. Thanks, Marc.

Damn. Wrong side of country... again.

Hope these find a good home; not every great classical recording has been transferred to CD / digital...

Perhaps this offer will interest young collectors in the area. It is a nice idea!
