I would like to be next in line for the tin 5" cylinder box :D

When your ready to sell of coarse.

Kevan,

I'm glad to learn that I'm not the only one rather smitten by this tin Grand box, but I hope you're a patient man! :)

Nate,

Congratulations on your 8-35X and especially that C-19 with all the extra goodies. It couldn't happen to a nicer young guy. :)

I didn't include a number of other items I acquired in 2016 - including the nice horn that came from you. I'm trying to avoid being self-indulgent, but I thank you again! I hope you're still enjoying that early XI in spite of your dazzling new finds.

Thank you George! The early XI sees a lot of use. It's become my go to for acoustic discs.

Another of my favorite purchases this year was made specifically with that XI is mind, since both are from 1913:

Happy New Year! May 2017 be a wonderful and happy one for all.

Here are a few of my lucky finds.
A Class E machine
A gold plated triumph
A Keen horn attachment

Luckier than the finds is to have a friend, Wyatt Markus, who worked his magic to make all three look and work beautifully.

NateO wrote: My favorite find would have to be the Edison C-19 I added to my collection earlier this month. It came equipped with LP gearing, and 3 reproducers, including the LP reproducer. To make the find even more exciting, the cabinet had 33 records inside, which included 2 52000 Series electric recordings, six 10" LP discs, and a copy of "Greetings from the Bunch at Orange". I am extremely grateful to Fran for tipping me off to this estate sale, which I was completely oblivious to!

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, Nate!

I'm happy to have helped, one never knows how things might turn out.

I hope you get decades of enjoyment from your C 19.

Best,
Fran

Another Concert Blank box - nice! Yours doesn't look like it spent over a century in India's climate...
