Brunswick Model "RO"

I can't find the model RO in the Wakeman Brunswick book. It's a rather plain looking walnut veneer finish lowboy. I'm sure it must have had a name like all the other models (or "styles"). I actually didn't intend to buy this today, but things don't always go the way you plan them.

Any info on this model?

Although I find no mention of a matching model in the Wakeman book to the "RO", I'm using my powers of deduction to assume that this could be an abbreviation for "Royal", which is mentioned only in this parts sheet for the Type E motor, since model "YO" is the "York"...

The "RO" designation for Royal sounds right. I owned a "YO" or York model for many years and found an old advertisement to verify that YO was an abbreviation for York.

Not minty, that's for sure. The veneer is peeling at the back corner of the top, and there is some finish damage there, as well as some dings on the legs and such. But it looks fairly clean other than that, and the slightly damaged grill or course (and no grill cloth).

Apparently the "Royal" Brunswick was available for sale in Alton, Illinois on December 1924, according to this ad in a local newspaper. It sold for 115 dollars...
