The Victor belt buckle is a nice touch. And it still has it's original felt from Jo-Ann Fabrics. One must admit though that they are making gradual improvements; the horn elbow for example is rounded now instead of the previous angle.

I told the guy it was a Repro and he has taken it off ! Claims he was conned

Hard not to get conned indeed, when chances are there's not a single authentic piece of Victor on the thing. Something about "the willing suspension of disbelief" applies to old phonographs as well as literature.

That is one nice Crapo phone. If was cheaper it would sell. You are right about the elbow , beware in the future.. Tom B
