Alex Kolkowski was the Sound Artist in Residence at the Science Museum in London in 2012 and was responsible for the heroic recreation of the Denman horn first heard again in 2014.

Many thanks Graham! A bit of looseness/licence with historical facts here and there, but interesting and enjoyable. I DJ with Tony and Greg occasionally - they're splendid chaps and their enthusiasm is irrepressible. And of course it was great to meet Alex when he came to yours after the Denman project to immerse in EMGs, along with Percy Wilson's son et al - an extremely memorable occasion. The most impressive thing about the Schellac Sisters is that they're women and, most of all, that they're four.

I've never met such a being as a "woman enthusiast of gramophones", but I suppose there must be some on the planet. But four - and all together in the same place and at the same time - are really out of this world.

You have never met my wife! She collects children's records and French cabaret singers (Josephine Baker et al) on 78rpm, and has her own Decca Nursery gramophone, but she still thinks my E.M.Ginn Expert is ugly.
