Child's phonograph tone arm

Post by miker2001 »

This came with a small lot of phono parts. Does anyone know what maker used this tone arm? The knob above the pivot controls a dampener.

Thanks.

That's from a Swanson Portable Phonograph, circa 1922 --

I had one about 30 years ago. I remember that it wasn't very loud, but had a nice mellow tone.

Here is that same tone arm on our Swanson portable. It has amazingly loud volume and clarity.
