I just uploaded 20 restored 2 minute cylinders to youtube, 19 actually as I forgot to work on one of them! All played back electrically. See if you can spot the unrestored one. :p

How do you restore a cylinder record?

I use software, diamond cut dc8 and clickrepair. I use an electric reproducer, too.

Robert - Thank you for sharing these. I really like "The Phantom Brigade". Great bass on the recording.

I like the Street Piano Medley on Edison 2M.I told a friend of mine who has a barrel piano about this.edisonplayer

Those sound great!

Although I don't have the best ear I'd have to guess the stradella overture might benefit from another go-round in the process?

(And is it just me or is the King Cotton March way over processed, makes it sound like the Phantom Brigade?) ;)
