The most often recommended US supplier for "every day" sleeves" is Bags Unlimited (.com).
The most often recommended US supplier for "premium quality" sleeves is Kurt Nauck (78rpm.com).

I think shipping east of the Mississippi is free. Double check, though.

Ooo, I like.
Their jackets are just as pricey but I like the poly lined sleeves.
Many other products of interest too!

Kurt's bags are excellent and heavy duty.

Ahh yes.
I see the Disk o file sleeves. I guess that I can use my poly sleeves inside of those.
Are poly sleeves recommended for static prevention?

This is an interesting and helpful thread. I keep my modest collection of 78s in a record cabinet under my Victor 6. They stand on edge, with slats to hold them, but the cheap paper sleeves have all curled at the back corners since they are so flimsy. For 50¢ apiece Nauck's sturdy sleeves strike me as a bargain. I just ordered a pile of them and will spend the weekend reorganizing my discs, and labeling them in the printed data box to make them easier to sort through.

+1 for Nauck sleeves, they are superb. Even more expensive shipped here to the UK, but I took the opportunity when I had a need for some odd sizes such as 14" Pathé. Like the satisfaction of a well-engineered machine, they have a palpable "just-right-ness".CMcPherson wrote:Ahh yes.

Equally I'll use the cheapest paper sleeves for run-of the mill records, card for better ones, and original paper or card ones unless I don't have any good ones to hand.
I don't think static is an issue for 78s whatsoever, even the later discs made from vinylite etc.
