SOLD!!: BERLINER FIBER GEAR FOR MONTROSS BERLINER

Post by phonospud »

Looking through my stash of shits and bits this week, I stumbled across a very special replica "Montross" Berliner fiber gear.

NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE SAME GEAR AS A "TRADEMARK" BERLINER! IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE!

However, it DOES have the same dimensions and is correct for some early Victor motors that have a VERTICAL governor orientation, driven by this fiber gear. I cannot remember which ones though. Made out of the exact same material as used more than a century ago.

It also does NOT fit any of the "ratchet wind variety" of Berliners either.

Gear diameter is exactly 2.580" just shy of 2 ⅝". This gear has a much finer pitch of teeth than the "trademark" gear.

If someone is interested, the first $100.00US takes it + shipping to your address.

This is the LAST gear from a run of various Berliner fiber gears I did years ago. Made with the attention to detail that you all know and love :D

Thanks for lookin' and PayPal only please.

Cheers,

Darren
