Oh boy Jerry and Dave, it sounds like you're still celebrating Edison's birthday.
Now that I have my boots on I can wade in here to make a post.


Hi Larry,
Actually, we did celebrate Edison's birthday! The museum showed Young Tom Edison which had its world premiere here in Port Huron on Feb 10. 1940. I put together a display from the museum archives about how the film came here and all the events that surrounded the premiere. I also gave a brief talk about all the things that the movie got wrong historically. Jerry and Marie came up for the event I was happy to see them!

We had the Thomas Edison Depot Museum open for Sunday and I had a small display from my collection there. I managed to get our Kruesi replica working and demonstrated tin foil recording to some very enthusiastic people. It still amazes me that such a crude thing works so well!
